When I used to be fifteen, she did not come house for two months. I was hoping that she had not operate away with a boy-- but regrettably my instincts have been right. Following this incident I usually tried to control her with synthetic hormones, fertility charts, sexual positions, and a number of other barriers but she has usually had a mind of her own. There were times that I really, definitely hated her too-- like perfect just before a hot date; a trip towards the amusement park, and surprising me although I was wearing my white jeans in my seventh grade house economics class; not to mention the funk that she would place me in alerting me that she was on her way home. Thirty many years later I have learned that my menstrual cycle isn't merely designed to notify me of whether or not or not I am ovulating or pregnant; my menstrual cycle holds inside it the important to healthful balance in my biological, psychological, and spiritual well-being. As ladies we're biologically designed to be the emotional givers and nurturers of life. We cook, clean and take care of other folks and if it was not for our periods we would never know when to sit down and allow an individual else to nurture us and bring us a cup of tea.
